The requirements to sign up for a prepaid SIM card is quite simple. Even if you are just a tourist or a short-term visitor, you can easily get one with unlimited data, calls and text at quite cheap price.

Postpaid SIM card, on the other hand, is offered to long-term residents in Korea. Thus, registering for one requires you to have a physical ARC (Alien Registration Card or Residence Card) and a Korean bank account. You can either create a new number or switch your current number to Woori Mobile service. In case you want a new number, you can choose the last four digits of your numbers.
